Google maps integration
Your Ovatu account is automatically connected with Google Maps.
This means that your Google listing on Maps and Search will now inlcude a Book button, as well as a feed of your Services.
If you wish to opt out of the Google Maps integration, you can do this by clicking:
- Account
- Integrations
- The Google Maps tile
Click Disable, to disable the integration. (You will be able to reconnect the integration at a later date by clicking Enable.)
TROUBLESHOOTING
Google requires certain criteria to be fullfilled in order for your integration to work. If your 'Book' button is not displaying in Google, please review the criteria below and ensure it has been met.
Criteria required for ‘Book’ button to display:
- Your ‘book’ tab on your mini-site is enabled
- You have at least one valid service
- You have a valid address - address, city, region, postcode, & country filled out. This must match Google address.
- At least 10% of your included services need a description
For a service to be ‘valid’:
- Is bookable online
- Has a title
- Has a duration
- Has a valid price (between 0 - 10000)
- No currency symbol/metadata or brackets in title
