Creating a sale
Sales can be created in many areas of the system. The main 2 are:
- On the Sales page
- In an appointment
1. ON THE SALES PAGE
Click Sales in the left hand menu, then click New Sale:
2. IN AN APPOINTMENT
Open the appointment by clicking on it, then click New sale:
You will then see the sale window, where you can add:
- Appointments and stand-alone services
- Products, customer credit, gift cards and passes
- Charges
- Discounts
- Payments and payment requests
- Tips
When you're ready to checkout, click +Payment or the green Pay now button:
In the payment window, you can modify the payment amount, and select the payment method.
The payment methods displayed here will include:
- Cash
- Gift cards (which you can search)
- Loyalty points (if the customer has any accrued)
- Customer credit (if the customer has any)
- Custom payment methods
- Any payments processors you have integrated
Enter the amount the payment is for and select the payment method. Then click the Pay button.
