Importing your data into Ovatu
We're happy to import your data into your Ovatu account for free. Please export all the data from your current system that you would like imported into Ovatu, read the below Data Upload Terms carefully and email your data files to us at hello@ovatu.com with all required information.
We can upload your:
- Customers
- Employees
- Services
- Products
- Appointments
Required Information:
We import all data in one go. To request a data import please email ALL your files to hello@ovatu.com and include:
- Which system the data has been exported from
- The following ownership declaration “I have read and agree to the Data Import Terms. I acknowledge I cannot submit additional data import requests later, I am the rightful owner of the data provided and have permission to store it.”
Data Import Terms:
- We can only provide one import per account. Please send us all data to be imported in the one email. We cannot import data provided in subsequent emails.
- The preferred format is CSV, however other spreadsheet formats may be accepted. The data must be easy to follow.
- It’s not always possible to import appointments data – this is at the discretion of our data team who will review your data file and advise if importing it is not possible.
- We can only import 12 months of historical appointment data.
- Data imports are normally completed within 3 business days, however this could be longer during excessively busy periods.
- If you require your data imported by a specific date, please provide us with 2 weeks notice.
- For best results, please leave your Ovatu account empty until your import is complete. If your Ovatu account already has data in it, the import may override some of this.
- The data imported into your account will be a direct reflection of the data files you provide us with, we do not take responsibility for any inconsistencies in the data.
- Data imports are not reversible.
- It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are the rightful owner of the data you are asking us to import and that you have permission to use this data.
- Specifically in relation to Customer personal information, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have met the regulatory requirements in your country to have permission to store personal information about your Customers including email addresses for marketing purposes.
- We reserve the right to refuse data import requests which do not adhere to the above.
