How do I enable Reservation reminders?
To enable Reservation reminders, choose Notifications > Reminders
Complete the required fields:

Reminders Enabled | Select this checkbox to enable Reservation reminders This checkbox activates the Reservation reminder system, including email reminders. SMS reminders need to be enabled separately, see below. The Reservation reminder email template can be customised in your email settings (see How do I customise my email settings?) |
Reminders Time | Use the drop down menu to select how long prior to the Reservation, the reminder will be sent out |
Reminders Confirmations Enabled | Select the Reminders Confirmations Enabled checkbox to enable this feature. When enabled: Online bookings are created with an orange ‘Unconfirmed’ tag. This is saying that you have not confirmed this online booking. You can remove this tag by opening the booking and clicking on the Confirm button. This also sends the ‘Customer Confirm Reservation Email’ to the customer. When a booking is created internally no confirm related tags are applied to it New Reservation Email: This email includes a Manage this reservation link. If that link is clicked on after the normal reservation reminder time the page that opens includes a Confirm Attending button. When this button is clicked on a green ‘Confirmed’ tag is added to the booking. The green ‘Confirmed’ tag is customer generated and means that the customer has confirmed the booking. Reservation Reminder Email: The reminder email will contain a Confirm Attending link, which the customer can click to confirm their reservation. When this is clicked on a green ‘Confirmed’ tag is added to the booking. SMS Confirmations: The system will scan SMS replies for YES or Y responses. If a YES or Y response is received a green ‘Confirmed’ tag is added to the booking. If you have this feature enabled please consider modifying your Reminder SMS message to include text such as “reply YES to confirm”. (See below) It is not possible for the ‘Confirmed’ tag to be added internally, it’s only possible to remove the ‘Unconfirmed’ tag by confirming the online booking. |

Reminders SMS body | If required, you can modify the Reminder SMS text here Placeholders are available to include - Customer name: {{customer.displayName}}, {{customer.firstName}}, {{customer.lastName}} - Reservation date: {{reservation.date}} - Reservation time: {{reservation.startTime}} - Services within the Reservation: {{reservation.services}} - Name of your business: {{location.title}} Please note: One SMS contains 160 characters. If your SMS body contains more than 160 characters, it will count as 2 or more SMSs Emoji's are supported, so feel free to add some fun to your message. However please note that if you include one or more emoji's, the character limit per message is halved to 80. |
Review Reminders Enabled | Select this checkbox to enable review reminders (via email) It is possible to customise per service, how review reminders are sent (see How do I customise rebooking and review reminders for a Service?) The review reminder email template can be customised in your email settings (see How do I customise my email settings?) |
Review Reminders Time | Use the drop down menu to select how long after to the Reservation, the review reminder will be sent out |
Birthday Message Enabled | Select this checkbox to enable Birthday messages (via email) The Birthday message email template can be customised in your email settings (see How do I customise my email settings?) |
Birthday Message Time | Use the drop down menu to select what time the Birthday message will be sent out |
