How do I add a new Resource Type?

A Resource Type allows you to tag your Resources, so that you only need to attach a Resource Type to a Service, and the system will know to allocate any of the Resources tagged with this Resource Type

ie Resources: 'Room 1' & 'Room 2' can both be tagged as:

Resource Type: 'Regular Room', then

If 'Regular Room' is linked to a Service, the system will allocate either 'Room 1' or 'Room 2'

To add a new Resource Type, choose Manage > Employees > Resource Types

Click + Add Resource Type

Enter the Name of the Resource Type

Click Save

To add a new Resource Type, from the Manage screen tap Resource Types

Tap the '+' icon, then complete the following:

Enter the name of the Resource Type

Select any Resources (or even Employees) that you wish to tag with this Resource Type by sliding the relevant enable buttons to the right

Tap Done
