Editing email templates

  1. You can modify the content of the automated emails that are sent to your customers.

To do this, please click:

  • Manage
  • Reminders & notifications, then
  • the Templates tab

You can edit a template by clicking the green Override button next to it.

For overridden templates, you can:

  • Edit - Edit your customised version of this template
  • Disable - Stop using your customised version of this template and start using the standard system version of this template. Your customised version is saved so you can use it later. This does not stop this template from sending.
  • Revert - Deletes your customised version of this template and uses the standard system version of this template

When you Edit a template you can customise its contents. Click on the Send Preview button to send yourself an example of that template so you can see what the customised template looks like.

Use the buttons at the top of the body of the email to add images, links, placeholders, format the text and more.

Select the Email tab to set which emails are sent automatically when changes are made in-house. These settings do not relate to appointments booked or edited online.
