Working with the waitlist
If a preferred appointment time is not available, you can add your customers (or they can add themselves) to the waitlist.
ENABLING THE WAITLIST
To enable the waitlist, click:
- Mini-site
- Preferences
- Scroll down to the Waitlist section and toggle that setting on
- Choose your Waitlist Mode (available only in the Loaded Plan)
ADDING TO THE WAITLIST INTERNALLY
Customers can be added to the waitlist while creating an appointment
In the Availabilitysection, select Waitlist Appointment:
Set the dates and times you wish to create the waitlist request for:
ADDING TO THE WAITLIST ONLINE
Customers can add themselves into the waitlist. They do this while creating an appointment online, if their preferred time is not available they click the Add to waitlist button:
Customers can add their preferred dates and times they wish to create their waitlist request for and click Confirm Waitlist:
VIEWING THE WAITLIST
You can view your waitlist on the Appointments page:
Or on your Dashboard:
The waitlisted requests can be sorted by Active, Booked and Expired.
Each waitlist request includes a status tag to let you know if it is still Waiting , now Available, or the customer has already been Notified.
Click on a waitlist request to open it.
In the waitlist window you can create a New appointment for the waitlisted time, or
- Notify the customer that the time is available
- Re-send the 'You're on the list!' email
- Cancel the waitlist request
- Delete it
