Customer notes

Customer notes can be accessed by:

  • Clicking Customers
  • Selecting the customer
  • Clicking the Notes tab

TYPES OF NOTES

  1. Alerts - an alert/warning tag displayed alongside the customer name throughout various parts of the system
  2. Notes - longer notes and formulas that are time stamped and include notes added to appointments
  3. Quick notes - a non-time stamped notepad where you can quickly jot something down

ADDING A NOTE

To add a note to a customer profile:

  • Click Add note
  • Select 'Note', 'Formula' or 'Alert'
  • Enter the content of the note

Adding a Formula note applies a note template you can add/edit to save time when entering frequently used note formats. The template is saved by clicking Manage > Preferences and saving the template in the Notes formula field.

APPOINTMENT NOTES

To add a note to an appointment:

  • Open the appointment
  • Enter the content into the Notes field

Notes added to appointments will appear in the customer profile with an 'appointment' icon.
