Segmenting customers
Customer segments are a way of grouping your customers. For example, to apply specific rules for online bookings and marketing.
To segment your customers, you need to:
- Create the customer segment
- Add customers to the segment
CREATING A SEGMENT
To create a segment:
- Click Manage
- Segments
- New segment
Complete the details of your segment:
ADDING CUSTOMERS TO A SEGMENT
To add just one customer to a segment:
- Click Customers
- Open the customer profile
- Click Edit
- Select the Segments tab
- Start typing the segment name in the Segments setting and select the segments you'd like to add this customer to
To add multiple customers to a segment at once:
- Click Customers
- Filter the customer list and select the customers you'd like to add to a segment. You can select just some customers in the list, or to add all customers in the filtered list to the segment, click on the very top checkbox, which will select them all.
- Click Set customer segments
