How do I add a Custom Field to Customers within a Group Reservation?
To add a Custom Field to Customers within a Group Reservation, choose Manage > Custom Fields
Custom Fields for Customers within a Group Reservation can be created in the Reservation Customer (Group) section:
Click + Add Custom Field to add a new Customer Field
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Enter the label for the Custom Field |
Code | Enter an internal code, which will appear in two places: - on a CSV file when this data is exported - in an email template Please enter a code with no spaces and one which is unique amongst the Custom Fields in your accounts |
Model Type | This is the object that the Custom Field relates to. It will be pre-selected to Reservation Customer (Group), but can be changed |
Data Type | Select the data type for the field from the following options:- Text- Long Text- Multiple- Yes/No- Number- Date |
History | Select this checkbox to record all changed made to the value entered in this Field |
Customer Visible | Select this checkbox for this Field to be visible to the Customer Not applicable to all Model Types |
Customer Editable | Select this checkbox for this Field to be editable by the Customer Not applicable to all Model Types |
Default Value | Enter a value that you would like this Field to be pre-filled with Or leave this section blank |
Values | If you have selected 'Multiple' in the Data Type, enter the value selections here Please enter the values in a list, one underneath the other |
Click Save
This Custom Field will appear in the following areas:
Group Reservation
When you click on the View button for a Customer within a Group Reservation:

Online Booking
When creating an Online Booking, this Field will appear in the 'Confirmation Details' section of the process
Please note, in order for this Field to appear during Online Booking, it must be set to Customer Visible
