Setting up a pass

A Pass is a way to sell blocks of Services, limited by number of uses or an expiry date, or a combination of both. For example:

  • 5 massages valid within 6 months
  • 60 tanning minutes, valid for 30 days
  • 1 month of unlimited yoga classes

Your Customer purchases a pass which includes a set number of 'uses'. They can then create appointments to spend the pass 'uses'. When a customer owns a pass and creates an appointment for a service enabled in their pass, the system automatically notes that service as paid for with a pass 'use', and manages the number of uses remaining for you. 

For example a pass for '3 Massages' can be purchased, and one 'use' deducted each time the customer books a 'Massage' service, until all 3 uses are used up.


To set up a pass click:

  • Manage
  • Passes, then
  • New pass


In the Details tab, customise your pass to suit your requirements, then click Save


Next, select the Services tab to enable the services that can be paid for with this pass, then click Save


Lastly, click the Taxes tab, and select which of your existing taxes (if any) apply to this pass, then click Save


All your passes show on the Passes page, where you can:

  1. Reorder
  2. Edit, or
  3. Delete them
