Overriding services for an employee

There may be scenarios where you would like a service to have different settings depending on which employee performs it. For example, if a service is more expensive or takes a different amount of time when done by a senior therapist.

To override the standard service settings for an employee click:

  • Manage
  • Employee

Employees with service overrides will display a yellow 'Overrides' tag.

  • Edit the employee
  • Select the Service options tab.

The override options are:

  • Enable - is this service able to be provided by this employee?
  • Price - is the price different for this employee?
  • Duration, Processing and Finishing - do any of the timings differ with this employee?
  • Online - can this service be booked online with this employee?
  • Available days - is this service limited to certain days of the week with this employee?

Overridden prices and durations will be highlighted in yellow.

These override options can also be accessed, in a slightly different format, by editing the service itself, to do this, please click:

  • Manage
  • Service
  • Edit
  • the Employees tab

Please Note: if the price of a service has been overridden for a specific employee, and the standard price (in the Details tab) for that service is changed, this will not update the employee's override price.

If you wish to update all employee price overrides when updating the price of a service, please toggle on the Update all employees option when updating the service price:
