How do I add a new Service?

To add a new Service, choose Manage > Services > List

Click Add Service 


Complete the required fields in the Service tab:




FieldDescription
TitleEnter the title of the Service
ColourSelect a colour for this Service
This colour will appear on the Bookings screen when Reservations are created for this Service
InformationEnter any additional information
This information will be displayed alongside this Service, during Online Booking
CategorySelect a Service Category from the drop down menu
Please note: Service Categories must be created first, see How do I add a Service Category?
PriceEnter the price of the Service
Select the 'From' checkbox to list this price as 'Prices From:' during Online Booking

Cost PriceEnter the cost price of this Service, for reporting purposes
DurationEnter the duration of the Service
ProcessingEnter the Processing time, if required
ie the idle time, when the employee is free to attend to another Customer

FinishingEnter the Finishing time, if required
ie the time when the employee needs to return to complete the Service

Customer Time ModeThe Customer Time mode allows you to select which times (Duration, Processing & Finishing) are displayed to the Customer. Select from:
- Duration + Processing + Finishing times
- Duration time only
- Duration + Processing times only
eg, if Duration is 15, Processing is 30, and Finishing is 15, but Customer Time Mode is Duration + Processing times only, the Reservation will appear to the Customer as a 45 minute Reservation, but internally, it will be scheduled for 60 minutes.
You can set any field to "0" if you don't need a time for that field. 
Allow InternetSelect this checkbox to allow this Service to be booked online
Online Payment Deposit OverrideHere, you can override any global online deposit payment settings (see Online Booking)
Specify a required deposit, for Online Booking just for this specific Service
Enter the deposit amount as select if this is a fixed amount ($) or percentage (%)
Online Payment Require Card CaptureThis checkbox allows you to to enable or disable card capture for specific services.
While there is a global setting to enable card capture (in the online booking payment settings), this can be changed for specific services here by editing service details.
Customer TypeSelect from the drop down menu:
Single - Single Services are Appointments
Group - Group Services are Classes
Max CustomersIf you've chosen Group in the 'Customer Type' field, enter the maximum number of customers allowed to book into this Group Service

Click Save

To add a new Service, from the Manage Screen, tap Services


Tap Edit, then tap +Add Service and complete the required fields:

TitleEnter the title of the Service
InformationEnter any additional information. This information will be displayed alongside this Service and during Online Booking
Duration
Enter the duration of the Service in hours/minutes using the scroll timer
Processing
Use the scroll timer to enter the Processing time, if required, ie the idle time, when the employee is free to attend to another Customer

FinishingUse the scroll timer to enter the Finishing time (if required), i.e. the time when the Employee needs to return to complete the Service

PriceEnter the price of the Service. Setting your price 'From' (i.e. upwards of a specific amount) can only be done via the web app. See link: How do I update the price of a Service?
InternetSliding the enable button to the right will allow this Service to be bookable online
GroupSliding the enable button to the right will create a Group Service reservation. Sliding to the right will allow you to set the number of bookable spaces within this Group Service.
CategorySelect the Service Category from the pop-up list. See How do I add a Service Category? 
TaxesSlide the enable button to the right to apply any taxes you have created. See How do I add/remove a Tax to/from a Service?
ResourcesIf no Resources are required for this Service, skip this section
If Resources are required for this Service, tap Resources > + and enter the Resource Name, Type, Resource or Resource Type and quantity, and its' default selection. For more information on adding Resources see our Resources help guides
ColourTap on a colour to select it for the Service.
A green tick will show which colour you have selected. This colour will appear on the Bookings Screen when Reservations are created for this Service

Tap Save

To add a new Service, from the Menu tap Manage > Services



  Tap the '+' icon and complete the required fields in the New Service box:


FieldDescription
TitleEnter the title of the Service
InformationEnter any additional information. This information will be displayed alongside this Service and during Online Booking
Customer TypeSelect Single for single service reservation
Select Group for group service reservation

PLEASE NOTE: If creating a Group Service, enter the maximum number of Customers in the Max. Customers field




ColorTap on the drop-down arrow to view colour options. Selecting a colour here will determine how this service will appear on the Bookings Screen when Reservations are created for this Service
Category Tap on the drop-down arrow to select the Service Category from the list. See How do I add a Service Category? 
PriceEnter the price of the Service. Setting your price 'From' (i.e. upwards of a specific amount) can only be done via the web app. See link: How do I update the price of a Service?
Duration Enter the duration of the Service in minutes 
Processing Enter the Processing time in minutes (if required) i.e. the idle time, when the employee is free to attend to another Customer See What is ‘Processing’ and ‘Finishing’ time?

Next Reservation ReminderSlide the button to the right to enable the Next Reservation Reminder notification for this Service.
If enabled, enter the number of days after the service you require the notification to be sent:



Tap Save

LoyaltySlide the button to the right to include this Service in your Loyalty program, see the Loyalty Program Help Guide for more information
Online BookingSliding the enable button to the right will allow this Service to be bookable online
Taxes
Slide the enable button to the right to apply any taxes you have created. See How do I add/remove a Tax to/from a Service?


Tap Save
