Sending aftercare
AFTERCARE IS COMING SOON!
Aftercare is a tool for you to send automated emails/SMS to customers following a service, providing for example instructions, tips and support.
To send aftercare, you will need to:
- Firsty, create an aftercare template
- Then, link it to a service
- The aftercare will be sent when you create an appointment for a service with linked aftercare
1. CREATING AN AFTERCARE TEMPLATE
To create an aftercare template, click:
- Manage
- Services
- Then select the Aftercare templates tab
Your aftercare templates are listed on this screen and can be edited or deleted using the icons.
Click on New template to create a new one:
Enter the content of your aftercare email template, using the email preview screen on the right to ensure the email it to your liking.
Scroll down to also create an SMS version of this aftercare communication.
2. LINKING AN AFTERCARE TEMPLATE TO A SERVICE
Return to the Services tab. Here, services with linked aftercare will display with an Aftercare tag.
To link an aftercare template to a serivce, Edit that service.
Next, select the Aftercare tab. Linked aftercare templates for this service display here, and can be edited and deleted from this screen.
Click Add aftercare to link an aftercare template to this service.
Next, select the template you wish to link and customise your delivery and timing options.
Please note, if you send aftercare via SMS, you will be charged at your standard SMS rates.
3. APPOINTMENTS WITH AFTERCARE
An appointment created for a service that contains aftercare, will list the aftercare within the Aftercare tab.
You can choose to send a scheduled aftercare message ahead of time by clicking Send now.
