Changing your mini-site domain
If you would like to request a change to your book.app minisite domain, please go to:
- Minisite, then
- Advanced
In the New domain section, enter your desired domain, then click Request change.
The request will be sent to our team for review.
Requesting a change to your domain
- If you have published or shared your old mini site URL anywhere (e.g. in social media posts or other marketing material), you will need to update it to the new URL.
- Once you have submitted your request, we will check that the domain is available and then contact you to confirm change.
- Requests may take up to 3 business days to be approved.
After your domain has changed:
- You will need to change it everywhere you've noted the old mini site URL
- Your mini site URL is also your account Domain, so you and your team will need to enter the new domain name in the 'Domain' field when logging in.
- If you have online booking on your Facebook and Instagram pages, please log into the web app and go to the Account > Integrations page. On that page disconnect the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) integration, and then re-connect it. This will connect online booking to your new mini site URL.
- Links in emails sent from your account, and your old mini site domain will redirect to your new mini site for 30 days. After that the redirection will no longer work. This includes links to leave reviews, complete forms, and claim gift cards etc., so please keep in mind you may need to send new links if customers contact you about that.
