Enabling customer reviews

To collect and display customer reviews, there are a number of steps to follow:

  1. Enable the 'Reviews' page on your mini-site
  2. Enable 'Review Reminders' to request reviews from your customers
  3. Select how often you would like reviews to be requested
  4. Manage and reply to your reviews
  5. It's also possible to request a review manually

1. ENABLING THE REVIEWS PAGE

To enable the 'Reviews' page on your mini-site, click:

  • Mini-site
  • Pages
  • Reviews

Enable the toggle, then customise your settings:

2. ENABLING REVIEW REMINDERS

For customers to leave reviews, you will need to send them review reminders.

To enable review reminders, click:

  • Manage, then
  • Reminders & notifications

Locate the 'Review Reminders' section and enable the toggle. You can also customise your timing and employee alerts.

Based on your settings, customers will be sent an email requesting they leave a review of their appointment.

When following the link, they will be taken to your mini-site to leave a review.

If your 'Reviews' page and your 'Customer account' page are both enabled, customers can log in to the customer portal and submit a review, even if you don't send them a review request email.

3. SELECTING THE REMINDER MODE

You may wish to customise how often review reminders are sent for certain services. This is done by editing the individual service.

To select the reminder mode, please click:

  • Manage
  • Services
  • Then Edit next to the service name
  • The Reminders tab

Here, you can edit the 'Review reminder mode' to choose if you would like a review reminder sent for every appointment, only once per service or never.

4. MANAGING AND REPLYING TO REVIEWS

Once you have received some reviews, you can manage and reply to them by clicking:

  • Marketing, then
  • Customer reviews

Here, you can:

  1. View the review
  2. Reply to it
  3. Approve/un-approve it (display/do not display online)
  4. Feature/un-feature the review (pin it to the top of the list online)
  5. Delete the review

5. MANUALLY REQUESTING A REVIEW

If required, you can also manually send a review request.

This can be done by opening the appointment and clicking:

  • The three dots in the top right
  • Send email
  • Review request
